Streams
What is a Stream?
A Stream is an auto-updating publication of your captures on a specific topic. It is not a blog post, a newsletter, or a social feed. It is a living curation — your perspective on a frequency, evolving as you encounter new signal.
Subscribers do not follow you. They subscribe to your output on a specific wavelength. You decide what is public and what stays private.
Publishing a Stream
- Select captures — Choose highlights from your library that belong together on a topic
- Add context — Write a short description that frames the collection
- Publish — One click. Your Stream is live. Anyone with the link can subscribe
Subscribing to Streams
Follow other curators' Streams from inside Gearbox Relay. New captures appear in your feed as they're published. The following feed keeps you connected to the perspectives you trust.
Creator economics
Creators can monetize their Streams. Stripe Connect handles direct payouts. During the 12-month beta period, the platform fee is 0% — creators keep 100%. After that, a transparent contribution model lets you choose what's fair (minimum 10%, suggested 15%).
